Islamic High Rise, Nasi Lemak & Banghra Nites

It's time for a short holiday again and so Yvonne and me came to Kuala Lumpur (KL for the locals) to close another gap on the map of Asia. From the very first moment I was surpised by the friendly people here. Taxi drivers welcome u to KL if u dont want a ride, no one hassles u, and people on the streets talk to u without any trick or cheat in mind... the food is perfect, especially the Indian on but also the traditional Nasi Lemak (coconutrice with a piece of egg, some sambal and a little fish) is one of my favorites. The city itself gets its charme through the contrasts - islamic hig rises and little chinese chop houses, the mix of cultures (Malay, Indian and Chinese).
Yesterday we had the pleasure to visit a Bollywoodmovie with an actor called Superstar ( I hope he is not a real one :-)). The story was some 3 hour stuff about ghosts, love, fighting and the story of a doctor.. as there were now subtitles the best thing were the songs and dance parts of the movie.. but also the fights were very.... special... I would say.
Tonite we join an Indian friend for a Banghra Party, sounds like assloads of fun :-).
On sunday I have to fly back to HCMC....
